Digitization is a fairly new undertaking in our company…
So I was really looking to forward to hearing what others were doing. The automobile industry was well represented and they seem to be very advanced. They gave us some ideas for what we might explore somewhere down the line.
One eye opening realization I came to while at the conference was that we’re really at step one in the digitization strategy. There is a lot out there that we could and should do.
The highlight at the event for me was …
The road map to digitization and how to go about implementing it. It was presentation that clearly laid out how to go about developing a digitization strategy, how to build a roadmap and what you may need to implement it. It’s something that I shared with the inhouse IT & digitization team right after getting back from the event.
We’re looking forward to participating again!
There’s a lot more to learn, lots more to explore in technology and we need to continue to benchmark against the industry to make sure we’re on the right track.
