10:30 AM PANEL The Challenges of Optimizing the Supply Chain With Different Manufacturing Approaches and Technologies Used at the Factory Level

It is often the norm that within a manufacturing company there are many factories that often operate very differently. However, this non-standardized approach can present many challenges to supply chain leaders whose job is to streamline the logistics from materials and ingredient sourcing to product final delivery.

Dive into the heart of supply chain optimization complexities in this thought-provoking panel that will help us navigate through the challenges posed by diverse manufacturing approaches and technologies employed at the factory level, and their profound impact on the broader supply chain dynamics.

We will discuss:

  • Technology integration. The challenges of integrating different manufacturing technologies into the supply chain and strategies for achieving seamless interoperability.
  • Data standardization. The importance of standardizing data across diverse manufacturing plants to ensure accurate and efficient communication between factories and throughout a company’s supply chain.
  • Cross-platform collaboration. The need for collaborative frameworks that enable communication and coordination among disparate manufacturing platforms, fostering a unified and responsive supply chain.
  • Adapting to Varied Speeds. Address the challenges of managing supply chain dynamics when factories operate at different times and speeds due to distinct manufacturing approaches, from traditional legacy factories to brand new smart factories.
  • Resilience Strategies. Gain insights into building resilient supply chains capable of adapting to anticipated and unanticipated fluctuations across the factory landscape.

This panel will help manufacturing leaders stay at the forefront of critical supply chain innovation and resilience in an ever-evolving manufacturing ecosystem.
