Leoncio acts as an IT Business Relationship Manager at ICU Medical, where he is instrumental in developing a Smart Manufacturing Strategy and spearheading efforts to build the foundations of Radical Innovation. Leoncio has also made significant contributions to the adoption of an innovative mindset, aiming to strengthen the company’s competitive edge in the medical devices manufacturing industry. In previous roles, Leoncio has worked as a Continuous Improvement Manager and Business Analyst, where he was tasked with understanding and optimizing business processes to enhance operational efficiency. Additionally, he played a crucial role in Information Systems integration during the acquisition of new manufacturing facilities, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in Mexico, Costa Rica, and Texas to ensure seamless transitions. Leoncio’s educational background includes Master Studies related to Innovation, as well as in Operations & Supply Chain Management, with a major in Industrial Engineering. He also has a keen interest in Design Thinking, Creativity, Consumer Psychology and Behavior Design, which further enriches his approach to problem-solving and innovation. He firmly believes in the importance of a broad mindset that appreciates and leverages multiple fields of knowledge to think differently.
